The organization focuses on client-centered solutions, tailoring offerings to fit the needs of each company served, and maintaining strong client relationships backed by recognized awards. ## Job Profile Summary The MarketView team, within ING Financial Markets (FM) / Wholesale Banking (WB), is responsible for the development, support, and maintenance of ING's ION MarketView platform. The team comprises experienced MarketView professionals who collaborate with Client Services, Network/ Infra, and Analytics Tooling to deliver functionality and address queries for the Fixed Income Trading desks globally. The role will be a key stakeholder for the overall MarketView engineering capability within ING, providing assurance that the asset meets business requirements while aligning with ING IT security policies. ## Job Responsibilities - Deliver BAU program of work to ensure the MarketView platform remains evergreen through iterative updates, upgrades, and configuration changes to the supporting infrastructure. - Provide first-line support to the Fixed Income trading desks globally on ION issues across all supported products and services. - Collaborate with internal Technology teams (front and back office) to ensure databases, servers, networks, and shared resources for the ION platform are understood, performance is optimized, and changes are planned appropriately. ## What We're Looking For - Degree in Computer Science, Cybernetics, Software Engineering, Financial Engineering, or a related discipline. - Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical and detail-oriented approach to IT systems troubleshooting. - Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities. - Basic understanding and familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems, including system navigation and administration. - Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools such as Bash, Windows batch scripts, and database operations. - Basic understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) practices in modern DevOps. - Prior internship experience in banking and finance or understanding of financial markets or trading systems is advantageous. ## Applying to this role This DevOps Engineer - MarketView role at ING runs through the firm's own careers portal and expects a CV and cover letter written specifically for the posting, not a portable submission carried across firms.
