## A Day in the Life

You will support packaging and manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting specialized folding and gluing equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.

## Job Details

**Role:** Manufacturing/Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift)

**Shift:** Third Shift (Nights) 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM

**Pay Range:** $22–$24 per hour

**Location:** Bohemia, NY

## Environmental Conditions

  
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) safety standards
  
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
  
- Warehouse environment

## Qualifications

### Education

  
- High School Diploma or GED required
  
- Preferred fields of study: Technical/Mechanical

### Experience

  
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing or maintenance experience is preferred

### Preferred Experience

  
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair
  
- Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
  
- Experience with folding machines, press operations, or similar specialized equipment is a plus

### Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

#### Knowledge

  
- Understanding of preventive maintenance procedures
  
- Familiarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality control practices
  
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems (preferred)

#### Skills

  
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
  
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  
- Effective verbal and written communication skills

#### Abilities

  
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs
  
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
  
- Willingness to handle chemicals and work in an industrial manufacturing environment

## Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  
- Regular standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbs
  
- Manufacturing/industrial environment
  
- Valid vision test certification required (renewed every two years)

**Compensation (Supplementary)**

The hourly pay range for this position in New York is $18.23–$27.35.
