The group invests in a broad range of credit assets secured by physical or financial collateral, including commercial finance, consumer finance, leasing, and infrastructure, leveraging Blackstone’s scale and disciplined approach. ## Job Description Off-Cycle Interns in Blackstone’s Infrastructure & Asset-Based Credit Group gain exposure to a wide range of transactions across asset classes and capital structures. Investment strategies include asset-based lending, corporate debt, and infrastructure debt solutions. Investment structures range from senior debt to equity, offering interns opportunities to work on solutions that finance the real economy. The primary focus of this role is supporting the Asset Based Finance team by assessing structured credit opportunities across sectors such as residential and commercial mortgages, consumer and commercial finance, digital infrastructure, and fund finance. Interns are generalists across these segments, actively participating in all project aspects and often working on multiple assignments simultaneously. Given the lean deal teams, interns take on important and integral roles, screening, analyzing, and structuring opportunities, and attending client and internal meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions. Prior internship experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, advisory, leveraged finance, structured finance, or infrastructure debt is desirable but not required. ## Responsibilities - Conduct due diligence, financial analysis, and modeling to support investment decisions. - Perform research, competitive analysis, and benchmarking across industries and companies. - Develop presentations and draft investment memoranda for internal and external stakeholders. - Assist in the execution of transactions, including structuring and negotiations. - Lead individual research projects focused on specific industries or companies. - Participate in client and internal meetings, negotiations, and due diligence sessions. ## Qualifications Blackstone seeks individuals who are team-oriented, highly motivated, intelligent, prudent, and demonstrated excellent performance in prior endeavors. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Desire to work in a team environment with dynamic roles - Basic knowledge of accounting and finance - Self-motivation to find solutions independently, with humility to acknowledge limits - Sincere commitment to personal and professional development - Excellent attention to detail - Intellectual curiosity - Good judgment - Technical proficiency in Excel/VBA; experience in programming languages is a plus ## Requirements for H2 2026 Off-Cycle Internship - Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or master's student or having just graduated - CV must include expected graduation month/year and grade; PDF format - Available to start from September 2026 and able to commit up to six months _Knowledge of accounting and finance and experience in investment banking are desirable, but not required._ If you do not meet these criteria, please see Blackstone’s Careers website for other opportunities, including other entry-level positions.
