It primarily covers General Ledger, Commission/Expense processing, related reconciliation, check and balance, provision/accrual accounting, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participation in ongoing improvement of the existing process. The role supports general finance activities across various business propositions and Financial Adviser requirements. The expectation is accurate, efficient, and timely processing of payments, reconciliation, closing, and UAT while ensuring all financial operations comply with relevant policies, statutory and regulatory requirements/guidelines. It is the team’s responsibility to alert management to any potential issues or risks that could adversely impact the company within the scope of duties. ## Responsibilities - Validate financing schemes, recruitment incentives, and distribution-related challenges to ensure accuracy and alignment with business rules. - Identify data discrepancies or validation issues and escalate as necessary to support timely resolution. - Support monthly closing activities by reviewing outputs for completeness and accuracy prior to downstream processing. - Manage and maintain distribution reports (e.g., financing schemes, recruitment incentives, and campaigns/challenges) ensuring timely updates to stakeholders. - Support end-to-end operational processes, ensuring validation activities are completed accurately and within defined timelines. - Assist in the rollout of new initiatives across distribution channels, ensuring smooth execution and coordination. - Contribute to ad hoc tasks and projects to support evolving business and operational needs. ## Who We Are Looking For Competencies & Personal Traits - Good business sense with the ability to understand and balance business objectives, process efficiency, and risk mitigation. - Experience with data analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Power BI, and Python. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. - Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously. - Strong analytical, data validation, and problem-solving skills. - Meticulous and detail-oriented, with the ability to collaborate effectively as a team player. - Preferably at least 1 year of experience in the same industry on data validation. **Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.** We provide equality of opportunity of benefits for all who apply and who perform work for our organization irrespective of sex, race, age, ethnic origin, educational, social and cultural background, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, disability or part-time/fixed-term work, or any other status protected by applicable law.
