This role supports three strategic agendas aimed at strengthening IT Security and Governance management, segmented into three task groupings: ## Functional (Job Responsibilities) - Establish procedures for tracking IT assets (e.g., SSL certificates, licenses) to ensure timely renewals by the responsible individuals and prevent disruptions to bank operations. - Assist IT in automation or AI-related projects to advance security and operations objectives. - Research and document best practices for IT Security & Governance topics and processes. - Revamp the bank’s existing access portal to be easily maintainable by multiple teams, integrating content such as: - Links to all applications - HLBS newsletters & events - HLBS policies & forms - Improve Vulnerability Assessment processes through documentation and a tracking/operational mechanism. ## Managerial (Team/Group Responsibilities) - Collaborate with relevant PICs (in branches or head office) to understand and improve tracking mechanisms. - Identify process improvement opportunities to increase efficiency of IT Security & Governance processes. - Engage with key personnel across departments and communicate recommended improvements to the respective reporting manager for the Bank’s access portal. ## Organizational: Cost Management and Financial Goals - Act as an ambassador for the role, delivering value and providing materials to ensure future maintainability. - Carry out other duties as directed by Company Management. ## Education / Qualification ITE, Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree ## Experience / Requirements - Technically inclined; able to understand code and syntax, and perform setup/configuration. - Strong communication skills (spoken or written). - Documentation skills with proper sectioning, workflows, and diagram drawing. - Domain knowledge in Cybersecurity is a plus. - Able to start in June/July and commit full-time for 6 months. ## Special Skills VBA (for Google Apps Script) is a plus. ## About HL Bank Singapore _About HL Bank Singapore HL Bank Singapore is the Singapore branch of Hong Leong Bank, a premier regional financial services leader headquartered in Malaysia with a rich heritage of over 120 years.
