Onsite at the Norwood branch in the Bronx.

## Salary

Estimated starting salary for this position is $712–$867 per week.

## Duties & Responsibilities

  
- Follow established opening and closing procedures to ensure the premises are safe for arriving employees, that valuables, bank assets, and customer information are secured at the end of the day, and that the alarm system is activated during non-business hours.
  
- Inspect automated teller machines (ATMs) to detect the installation of skimming devices.
  
- Observe all activity and report to management any suspicious persons or activity inside or outside the bank.
  
- Maintain good customer relations by assisting with their needs, such as helping fill out forms and directing them to the proper bank employee. Assist elderly or disabled customers by holding the door open.
  
- Ensure floors are free of trip and slip hazards to prevent customer falls or injury.
  
- Assist management when needed in maintaining order if there is a person dissatisfied with service.
  
- Perform other related duties as necessary from time to time at management discretion.

## Job Specifications

  
- Knowledge of law enforcement is helpful but not necessary.
  
- Active NYS Security Guard License preferred.
  
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  
- Good customer service skills.
  
- Willingness and ability to relocate to other branch offices on short notice.
  
- Access to a personal vehicle and possession of a valid driver’s license preferred, but not required.
