## Role

Sales Development Representative (SDR) – 100% in-person role in the DC or NYC area. This position collaborates with the team to identify and qualify leads, initiates engaging conversations with potential clients through extensive cold calling, and plays a pivotal role in expanding our customer base. The role offers base salary with potential equity and commission, with the opportunity to exceed 100% of the base salary.

## Responsibilities

  
- Conduct cold outreach via phone, email, and in-person meetings to initiate contact with prospects and introduce our products/services.
  
- Attend conferences to engage with industry peers and prospects, leveraging networking opportunities to close valuable sales leads.
  
- Collaborate with the Sales team to create and execute lead-generation and customer-acquisition strategies.
  
- Continuously build a target prospect list of healthcare professionals and qualify leads through online research, networking, and outreach.
  
- Educate healthcare professionals on Nitra's offerings.
  
- Qualify leads by understanding needs, challenges, and buying behavior to determine fit.
  
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, sales activities, and customer information using CRM software.
  
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop pitches, presentations, and materials tailored to different customer segments.

## Requirements & Qualifications

  
- Proven experience in cold calling to generate leads and initiate sales conversations.
  
- 1+ years of sales experience with demonstrated ability to drive lead conversion and sales growth.
  
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
  
- Background as a college athlete is a plus.
  
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a confident, professional demeanor.
  
- Self-motivated with a passion for sales and eagerness to learn the industry.
  
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team-oriented environment.
  
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
