BNP Paribas Corporate and Institutional Banking is a globally recognised leader offering capital markets, securities services, financing, treasury and advisory solutions. ## Job Purpose The role is to assist senior team members in day-to-day business activities and contribute to a variety of tasks, providing a general introduction to the business through daily contact with several teams (trading, research, ECM, IT, MO/BO). ## Key Responsibilities - Participate in technical and business skills training. - Support senior team members with day-to-day activities. - Work closely with the internal tool development team to test releases and plan new features. - Participate in the preparation of internal reports on the evolution of markets and business. - Work closely with trading on post-trade treatment. - Contribute to primary transactions by coordinating multiple involved teams (ECM, syndicate, MO/BO). - Automate desk processes. ## Requirements - Degree from a leading university, engineering or business school with an excellent academic record; or equivalent work experience. - Good understanding of financial markets. - Curious and eager to learn. - Confident verbal and written communication, with strong networking skills. - Proficient with MS Office tools, including Excel. - Strong organisational, multitasking, and time management skills. - Strong analytical skills and judgement. - Meticulous accuracy and a keen eye for detail. - Team player with a proactive, independent, enthusiastic self-starter attitude and strong interpersonal skills. - Excellent spoken and written English; French is an advantage. - Programming skills (Python, SQL, VBA) will be needed. ## Conduct - Be a role model by supporting and fostering a culture of good conduct. - Demonstrate proactivity, transparency, and accountability for identifying and managing conduct risks. - Consider the implications of your actions on colleagues. - Embody and practice the Group values (alignment with the Bank’s strategy, commitment, work ethic, integrity, and Code of Conduct). ## Additional Information - You may apply to four Long Term Internships over the course of a year.
