Operators perform a variety of coordinated activities that support safety, quality, and shipping goals. The role requires comfortable experience with forklift and overhead crane operations. You will work with co-workers, team leads, and supervisors to develop skills and contribute to a strong safety culture. ## Shift Friday - Monday (weekend role) 6am - 3pm OR Monday–Friday night shift 10pm – 6am ## Starting Wage Starting hourly wage is $20 per hour and commensurate with experience. ## Your Responsibilities - Handle and move materials using forklifts and overhead cranes on and off trailers - Operate equipment and mechanized devices used in daily production - Inspect equipment, materials, and products to identify causes of errors, problems, or defects - Communicate and escalate problems, concerns, or improvements to supervisors, leads, and co-workers - Perform other functions in warehouse and shipping as needed - Communicate information to supervisors, leads, and peers in a professional manner - Strive to improve in a continuous operation and fast-paced changing production environment ## Basic Qualifications - Experience loading and unloading trailers - Experience operating a forklift ## Preferred / Additional qualifications - Experience operating an overhead crane ## About Guardian Glass Guardian Glass is a part of Guardian Industries and is among the world’s largest manufacturers of float, value-added, and fabricated glass products.
