This hybrid role requires working in the office at least three days per week. You will work closely with senior brokers and clients to develop expertise and deliver effective insurance solutions for construction-related risks. ## Responsibilities - Support senior brokers in managing medium-sized, less complex books of business. - Develop an understanding of clients’ business priorities, risk strategies, and risk management needs to provide appropriate advice. - Assist in reviewing clients’ exposures and loss experience to help develop solutions for standard client needs. - Collaborate with the Placement team to receive, negotiate, and evaluate quotes from carriers to deliver the best options to clients. - Help prepare presentations for prospective clients and contribute ideas for innovative solutions to gain new clients and projects. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a reliable point of contact for day-to-day service needs. - Maintain quality in client deliverables, including monitoring delivery and invoicing to ensure client satisfaction. - Stay informed about changing market conditions and contribute to the team’s knowledge sharing. ## What you need to have - 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in the re/insurance industry, including broking, underwriting, or claims. - Some exposure or interest in construction-related insurance roles is preferred. - Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to manage time effectively. - Attained or working towards a Certificate in General Insurance (CGI) or equivalent.
