## Job Description

**What is the Opportunity?**

The Global Investment Banking division is looking to add an Analyst to the Business Management team, based in New York City.

**What will you do?**

  
- Conduct market share competitive analysis of industry sectors, markets and products and other ad-hoc analytics.
  
- Ongoing lead and support for various ad-hoc strategic initiatives and internal management meetings (including business review meetings; weekly management meetings).
  
- Prepare and interpret strategic and financial reports that cover multiple facets of the business, including Client Profiling, Banker Productivity, Competitive Analytics, Missed Deals, and the creation of bi-weekly, monthly, and yearly management packs; lead business development and multi-year strategic planning.
  
- Assist in the annual budgeting and planning process.
  
- Weekly revenue and pipeline maintenance: work with group heads to understand sector revenue details.
  
- Help coordinate the annual performance review process.
  
- Help lead, develop, and administer the Customer Relationship Management System for GIB (including call reporting, automation of pipeline revenue reporting, and transparency for group heads).
  
- Assist with conference planning and donor applications.
  
- Coordinate deal files.
  
- Enforce audit and compliance matters.

## What do you need to succeed?

  
- B.S. in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  
- 1–2 years of experience in a financial institution.
  
- Advanced proficiency with Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Dealogic, Acrobat, etc.
  
- Project management mindset and approach.
  
- Knowledge of Investment Banking product set preferred (ECM, DCM, M&A, Leveraged Finance).
  
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
  
- Comfort and confidence interacting with senior leaders and management.
  
- Extremely detail-oriented and analytical.
  
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
  
- Strong communication, written and interpersonal skills.
  
- Team player.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $80,000–$100,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
