It is how we work, consistently, be it towards the company, our colleagues or our customers. ## Job Description ### Role Summary You will be involved in the sales, marketing, and onboarding of a wide range of SME banking products and services to meet the financial and investment needs of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Products include commercial property loans, trade finance, and asset-based financing. You will also support the end-to-end processing of new applications, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a smooth customer onboarding experience. ## Key Responsibilities - Drive **new client acquisition** through cold calling, referrals, networking, and targeted outreach - Promote **SME banking products**, including term loans, asset-based financing solutions and trade finance - Manage the **loan origination process** from application through to approval and disbursement - Conduct **basic financial analysis and information gathering** to support credit assessment - Ensure completeness and accuracy of **credit documentation and onboarding requirements** - Coordinate with internal stakeholders (credit, operations, compliance) to ensure **timely and efficient processing** ## Requirements ### Experience - 1–3 years of experience in SME banking, business development, credit, or sales roles - Exposure to commercial lending, trade finance, or working capital financing is advantageous - Fresh graduates with strong sales mindset may be considered ### Education - Diploma or Degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Accountancy, or related disciplines ## Additional Information Develop, Engage, Execute, Strategise Be a Part of the UOB Family UOB is an equal opportunity employer.
