Job duties and requirements include: ## Responsibilities - Build and maintain detailed company models - Stay on top of company news, track filings, listen to conference calls - Write first-look notes, contribute to longer thematic reports, and company initiations - Field questions and communicate with sales and/or clients - Maintain relationships with company IR teams ## Qualifications - 1+ years experience covering clean energy on the sell-side, buy-side, banking or consulting - Experienced in FactSet and/or Bloomberg; knowledge of industry-specific databases also helpful - Advanced Excel modeling and writing skills - Strong knowledge of accounting, corporate finance and energy-specific terminology/concepts ## Education - Bachelor’s/University degree - CFA or progression towards CFA preferred - FINRA Series 63, 86 and 87 preferred (required within 5 months of hire) ## Compensation & Location **Primary Location:** Full Time **Salary Range:** $100,000 - $120,000 ## About Jefferies Jefferies is a leading global, full-service investment banking and capital markets firm that provides advisory, sales and trading, research, and wealth and asset management services.
