This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team with high internal visibility at the senior executive level within TD Securities and the TD Bank Group. The position will provide a chance to gain transaction experience and a high level of responsibility in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. ## Responsibilities - Establish a deep knowledge base of the global bond markets, identifying trends and originating unique ideas - Work alongside and support teams covering clients across the region, identifying funding and capital needs and strategic opportunities across global debt capital markets - Play an integral role in the deal cycle from beginning to end, including taking ownership of pitches, deal documentation, sales memos, marketing, due diligence, execution, pricing, and settlement - Manage new bond issue transactions including bookbuilding and pricing - Prepare and deliver “best pricing” for interest rate and cross-currency derivative transactions - Responsible for putting together weekly new issue pricing, presentations for meetings, and maintaining deal databases - Establish a deep understanding of TD’s capabilities across various products and geographies and how they can benefit TD’s client base - Interact with TD’s SSA, Financial and Corporate clients—keeping them apprised of market trends, new issuance and headlines ## The Successful Candidate Should - Preferably have prior experience in Debt Capital Markets Origination and/or Bond Syndicate. Candidates with strong backgrounds in programming, modelling and data analytics will be highly regarded. - Demonstrate a strong ability to learn quickly, have a strong analytical background and capacity to perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Have a keen interest in global financial markets, a knowledge of financial products, and solid understanding of MS Excel and PowerPoint.
