You are able to determine when it is appropriate to deviate from a standard practice to accomplish the desired result. You can troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined SOPs. ## What Do We Offer? We encourage a casual dress code—jeans, t-shirts, sneakers, and sometimes a neon safety vest may be your daily outfit. ## Key Responsibilities - Network engineering and troubleshooting, data cabling, and systems administration in a variety of software and hardware environments. - Ensure infrastructure networking and computing systems remain available during production hours. - Interact with management and staff to provide analytical and technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions. - Manage local technical projects. - Maintain or create policies, procedures, and processes. - Identify root causes of operational issues and process inefficiencies. - Move up to 49 lbs and stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours. - Support customers from multiple buildings in the area, as well as remote customers. - Travel within the local or regional area to support customers. ## Basic Qualifications - 1+ year(s) of Windows Server technologies experience (Active Directory, DFS, Print Services, SCCM). - 2+ years of troubleshooting in a multi-user high-availability environment. - 2+ years of PC repair, troubleshooting, deployment, and liquidation experience. - 1+ year of IT client, server, and network service delivery experience. - 2+ years of networking experience (DNS, DHCP, SSL, OSI Model, TCP/IP). - 2+ years of support experience in a corporate Windows, Mac, or Linux operating system environment. - 2+ years of supporting and maintaining a corporate network environment. - High school diploma or equivalent. - Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in IT-related fields including networking, Linux administration, Microsoft administration, and/or Cisco network configuration and management. ## Preferred Qualifications - 2+ years of computer networking experience. - Experience supporting video conference and teleconference equipment. ## Equal Opportunity Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. ## Inclusion & Accommodations Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
