## Overview

The Investment Product Specialist (IPS) team is part of the Asset Class Services (ACS) team within Capital Group’s Europe and Asia business. IPS partners with the Investment Directors (ID) to deliver deep expertise on Capital Group’s investment strategies, internally and externally. The IPS and ID teams work together to represent and grow Capital Group’s EQMA coverage, aligning with Client and Marketing teams to unlock growth opportunities. The role requires quickly developing a deep understanding of Capital Group’s EQMA range and synthesising information to enable colleagues to speak credibly about the strengths of our investments. The IPS collaborates with IDs on strategy positioning and generates investment insights to drive business and client engagement.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in representing our global Equities & Multi-Asset (EQMA) products and investment teams. They will develop a strong understanding of Capital Group’s EQMA range and investment approach, and translate that knowledge into actionable content for internal partners and external engagement. They will partner with the ID team on strategy positioning and support client engagement with investment insights.

## Primary Responsibilities

  
- Partner with the EQMA ID and investment teams to develop a deep understanding of investment ideas, strategy, and positioning across Multi-Asset product coverage.
  
- Drive investment content and narrative to support client engagement and enable the ID team to deliver portfolio and market insights at meetings, conferences, and other external events.
  
- Develop key messages to position and differentiate Capital Group’s EQMA capabilities, tailoring for regional and segment-specific needs where appropriate.
  
- Engage with sales teams to address client queries promptly, coordinating with internal distribution and operations teams for accurate, timely responses.
  
- Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to understand investor requirements and how they impact EQMA offerings.
  
- Collaborate with IDs, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to align on sales strategy, marketing approach, and client requirements.
  
- Advocate for Capital Group’s equity offerings, shaping overall product strategy, including new product development and rollout initiatives; support broader asset-class initiatives and business planning.
  
- Build collaborative relationships with key internal stakeholders across Europe, Asia, and North America to demonstrate value and achieve shared goals.
  
- Contribute to thought leadership to drive proactive external engagement across Europe & Asia Client Group (EACG) and maintain asset-class alignment and positioning.

## Requirements & Qualifications

  
- Ideally 3–4 years (Analyst) or 5–10 years (Specialist) within the asset management industry, with exposure to an investment team environment or as a markets/product specialist delivering portfolio and investment insights.
  
- Robust understanding of equity and fixed income markets and a range of equity and multi-asset strategies.
  
- Self-motivated, proactive, with strong intellectual curiosity, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
- Commercial mindset with the ability to craft positioning messages for target audiences and deliver impactful results.
  
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills to engage with internal and external audiences.
  
- Organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate investment insights and content in a timely manner.
  
- Highly collaborative and comfortable partnering with multiple teams across time zones to achieve outcomes.
  
- Experience interacting with and extracting information from markets data tools and platforms (e.g., Refinitiv, Bloomberg).

**Compensation & Benefits**

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, eligible employees receive an annual performance bonus, a profitability bonus, and a retirement plan with Capital contributing 15% of eligible earnings. You can learn more about our compensation and benefits here: here.
