Amazon is seeking a talented Vendor Manager (VM) to manage vendor relationships and set the strategic direction for their business on the Worldwide Grocery Category team. The ideal candidate has experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Excellent communication skills and proficiency with Excel are essential. A self-starter who takes ownership of projects and business problems to deliver results is highly valued. ## Responsibilities - Drive strategic negotiations with vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with vendor partners and their leadership - Develop long-term strategies and influence cross-category plans—delivering on Amazon's goals while obsessing over customers - Work cross-functionally within Amazon and with assigned vendors - Implement scalable, simple, and automated solutions to address customer pain points and drive results - Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand-building - Audit metrics regularly, identify risks, prioritize business opportunities, and make recommendations to deliver results - Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth ## About the Team The Worldwide Grocery Category Management team is responsible for selection decisions and vendor relationships for the grocery category across all Amazon banners. Our team focuses on creating exceptional shopping experiences that transform how customers discover and purchase perishable goods from Amazon. We are passionate about building compelling assortments, optimizing the customer journey, and developing strategic partnerships with vendors to drive category growth. Our team strives to deliver exceptional value to customers while driving business results through data-driven decision making. ## Basic Qualifications - 1+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience - Bachelor's degree - Experience using Excel and other business analytics tools ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience in online retail - Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML ## Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position is listed below.
