The Industrials Advisory group covers a broad range of large-cap corporate clients and financial sponsors in sectors including aerospace, defense, and government services; automotive; building products; capital goods and machinery; diversified industrials; industrial technology and automation.

## Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Associate for its Industrials Advisory group in New York, NY.

## Responsibilities

  
- M&A buy-side and sell-side engagements
  
- Portfolio separations and breakups
  
- Balance sheet restructurings
  
- Evaluation of strategic alternatives
  
- Assistance in raising debt or equity financing
  
- Managing analysts and overseeing financial and valuation analysis
  
- Resolving complex financial and accounting issues
  
- Industry and competitive analysis, due diligence, and drafting client materials
  
- Management and execution of live deal situations
  
- Assistance with new business development

## Qualifications & Requirements

  
- 1–2 years of Investment Banking experience
  
- Graduate of a top-tier business school or associate promotion
  
- Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
  
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  
- Ability to think broadly about strategic issues facing clients
  
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
  
- Demonstrated academic excellence and work ethic
  
- Ability to manage and lead teams and work under high responsibility at early career stages

## Compensation

Expected Base Salary Range: $185,000 – $250,000

In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus paid in cash and/or deferred equity.
