Experienced Analyst - Industrials Advisory

Group Description

The Industrials Advisory group covers a broad range of large-cap corporate clients and financial sponsors in sectors including aerospace, defense, and government services; automotive; building products; capital goods and machinery; diversified industrials; industrial technology and automation.

Position

Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst for its Industrials Advisory group in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with senior bankers on industry-transforming, multi-billion dollar transactions in markets around the world.
• Operate within a small transaction team structure to learn investment banking and assume high levels of responsibility early in the career.
• Contribute to a variety of assignments, including buy-side M&A, sell-side M&A, portfolio separations and breakups, balance sheet restructurings, evaluation of strategic alternatives, and assistance in raising debt or equity financing.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, self-directed, creative, and resourceful with a strong interest in a career in investment banking; intellectually curious and eager to learn.
• Academically accomplished with the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
• 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent, team-based attitude with a relentless work ethic and high energy level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional attention to detail; calm under pressure with a track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Intellectual curiosity and strong interest in finance.

Compensation

Expected Base Salary Range: $120,000 – $140,000.

In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity.
