## Background

Rothschild & Co’s Global Markets Solutions (GMS) is Europe’s leading, independent, fully integrated equity solutions business and a key pillar of Rothschild & Co’s leading Global Advisory practice alongside mergers and acquisitions and debt advisory & restructuring.

## The Role

A compliance role focused on market abuse surveillance. The successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring the company has appropriate controls and procedures to ensure compliance with market abuse regulation.

## Responsibilities

  
- Conduct daily market abuse surveillance, including the review and investigation of automated alerts.
  
- Assess alerts in a timely manner, documenting findings and forming clear, reasoned conclusions.
  
- Identify and escalate potential market abuse risks or concerns in line with internal procedures.
  
- Support the ongoing effectiveness of the firm’s market abuse controls and monitoring frameworks.
  
- Produce management information and trend analysis relating to surveillance activity.
  
- Work closely with other members of the Compliance team and relevant internal stakeholders.

- Knowledge of UK Market Abuse Regulation desirable.
