The Role

A compliance role focused on market abuse surveillance. The successful candidate will be part of a small team responsible for ensuring the company has appropriate controls and procedures to ensure compliance with market abuse regulation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily market abuse surveillance, including the review and investigation of automated alerts.
• Assess alerts in a timely manner, documenting findings and forming clear, reasoned conclusions.
• Identify and escalate potential market abuse risks or concerns in line with internal procedures.
• Support the ongoing effectiveness of the firm’s market abuse controls and monitoring frameworks.
• Produce management information and trend analysis relating to surveillance activity.
• Work closely with other members of the Compliance team and relevant internal stakeholders.
