UK Pioneer Work Experience Programme in Birmingham – Summer 2026

Overview

Rothschild & Co's Pioneer Work Experience Programme is aimed at year 11–13 students who are considering a career in financial advisory. This programme, centred on our Global Advisory division in Birmingham, will serve as an introduction to our M&A, Debt and Restructuring and Global Markets Solutions businesses, giving you a valuable insight into life as a banker at Rothschild & Co. During the programme, you will have the opportunity to network with bankers from our Global Advisory division based in Birmingham and also spend a day at Rothschild & Co’s head office in London. We hope that by the end of the programme many of you will be inspired by a career in financial advisory, and as such we will be offering a stay in touch programme for those that are interested in a career with us.

Eligibility

This programme is aimed at students in years 11–13 who are considering a career in financial advisory.

Qualifications and competencies required

• A minimum of 60 points from the candidate’s top eight GCSEs (or, if the candidate is in year 11, predicted grades at that level)
• Motivated to learn, with an interest in financial advisory
• Good team player
