We serve nearly half of America’s households and small businesses with a broad range of financial products, aiming to put customers at the heart of everything we do. ## Position Relationship Banker – Branch ## Responsibilities - Put clients first and exceed their expectations by delivering attentive, friendly service in a welcoming environment. - Manage assigned clients and proactively meet with them in person and by phone to build lasting relationships, understand financial needs, and tailor product and service recommendations. - Engage in clear, polite, consultative communication to understand and help clients, building trust by asking questions and listening to anticipate their needs. - Educate and connect clients to technology solutions such as the Chase Mobile App, Chase.com, and ATMs to support their banking needs anytime, anywhere. - Learn products, services, and procedures quickly to consult with clients about banking solutions and connect them with our team of experts for specialized financial needs. - Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulatory banking requirements. ## Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills - 1+ year of sales experience in Retail Banking, Financial Services, or related industries with proven success in acquiring new clients, deepening relationships, and delivering results. - Ability to create memorable experiences for clients and elevate the client experience. - Excellent communication skills, both in person and over the phone, with the ability to tailor features and benefits of products and services to clients with varying needs. - Ability to resolve client issues quickly and accurately with attention to detail, ensuring a consistent client experience. - Operate within established risk parameters and comply with internal/external risk and regulatory requirements, including completion of required training. - High school diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent. - Minimum licensing requirements: Securities Industry Essential (SIE) exam, FINRA Series 6, state registration (including 63 if required), and Life licenses. All unlicensed applicants must obtain their licenses through JPMorgan Chase’s licensing program within 180 days of hire, with study materials and support provided. - Ability to work branch hours including weekends and some evenings. ## Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills - College degree or military equivalent. - Experience adhering to banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. ## Regulatory and Licensing Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act: This position is subject to Dodd-Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. Employment offers are contingent on review of criminal history, credit report, NMLS information, and other factors demonstrating financial responsibility and fitness for the position. Felony convictions within the last seven years may disqualify an applicant. Employment is contingent on complying with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd-Frank Loan Originator requirements. The role requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. Upon active employment, you will be required to register or update your NMLS registration to reflect employment with JPMorgan Chase. Continued employment is contingent on compliance with the SAFE Act, including registration after start date and timely renewal.
