Help the world’s leading organizations unlock the value of technology and build a more sustainable, more inclusive world. ## Role Details - **Job Title:** Java + AWS Engineer - **Location:** Hanover, NJ - **Mode:** Hybrid - **Type:** FTE (no Subcontractor) - **Visa:** No Sponsorship available ## Responsibilities - Develop RESTful APIs using API Gateway, Lambda, and Step Functions to build event-driven and serverless architectures. - Build and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot, supporting clinical data processing and integration with AWS-based data pipelines. - Develop REST APIs using Java (Spring Boot) and integrate with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, and Step Functions. - Use Amazon EMR to process large-scale datasets with Spark, enabling efficient batch processing and transformation of data stored in S3. - Develop and support Java Spring Boot microservices for high-performance backend processing and integration with AWS services such as API Gateway, Lambda, and Kafka. - Design RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot with a focus on scalability, security, and seamless integration with event-driven architectures. ## Qualifications Grade Specific Has more than a year of relevant work experience. Solid understanding of programming concepts, software design and software development principles. Consistently works to direction with minimal supervision, producing accurate and reliable results. Able to work on a range of tasks and problems, applying skills and knowledge. Manages own time to deliver tasks with a mid-term horizon. Works cooperatively with others to achieve team goals and contributes to project performance, making decisions based on understanding of the situation, not just the rules. ## Compensation The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: **[$61,087 to $104,364]** Capgemini provides compensation information in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The base range listed reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini may pay for the role at the time of posting. The range may change as permitted by law. The actual compensation offered may fall outside the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction, including geographic location, education and qualifications, certifications, relevant experience and skills, seniority and performance, market and business considerations, and internal pay equity. It is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the posted range.
