## Business Segment Overview

Commercial: Our comprehensive suite of commercial products and services enables collaboration with clients across hedging, risk management, execution and clearing, OTC products, commodity finance, and more.

## Position Purpose

Junior Trader Ocean Freight will support the Senior Vice President (SVP) Ocean Freight in day-to-day commercial tasks involved in securing cost-efficient, quality ocean freight for the StoneX group.

## Responsibilities

  
- 
  
- Mark-to-market data input – fuel/FFA/ships and freight
  
- Calculate and report risk limits
  
- Complete and report new country approval forms
  
- Vet Rightship and follow up with owners
  
- Provide tanker vetting if required
  
- CRM tool development
  
- Trading support
  
- Competent use of Veson voyage calculator
  
- Daily update of freight grid and assumptions – distribute to traders
  
- Provide freight quote responses to internal commodity traders
  
- Daily freight report circulation
  
- Review operating voyages and escalate to SVP Ocean Freight for changes in P&L of voyages
  
- Oversee contract entry – ensure correct input in Veson

## Qualifications

  
- Bachelor's Degree
  
- Relevant experience
  
- Hiring Salary Range: $90,000 – $110,000. Salary determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, internal equity, and market data. Subject to business performance and management recommendations; eligibility for incentive compensation may apply. This compensation package may include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on the position.
