Singapore serves as the regional headquarters for ING’s Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia and includes all WB business lines such as Financial Markets, Sectors, Lending, Capital Markets & Advisory, Transaction Services, and other support functions. ## Financial Institutions Team ING’s Financial Institutions (FI) sector combines relationship management, multi-product sales, and structured lending for Bank and Non-bank Financial Institutions (NBFI). NBFI clients include sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, securities companies, and asset managers. ## Role and Responsibilities - Work closely with the FI Coverage and all product sales teams. - Assist with origination efforts including briefing memos, client mapping, research, and pitch presentations. - Assist with portfolio management including customer due diligence, transaction management, and client monitoring. - Prepare communication for internal stakeholders including account plans, pipeline tracking, transaction status, and other portfolio updates. - Monitor information and news services on the client base and share client/sector developments with the team. - Support the product team with ad hoc duties. - Assist in compiling data, pricing grid updates, and portfolio analysis. ## Qualifications & Requirements **Qualification:** - 2nd to final year undergraduate with a demonstrated interest in banking and finance. ## Skills & Competencies - Basic understanding of how a wholesale bank operates and its business model. - Ability to work within deadlines with limited supervision and a high level of initiative. - Willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully to the team and the bank as a whole. - Ability to communicate clearly with fluent spoken and written English. - Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. ## Additional Information Need more information?
