We’re focused on opportunity and want to help you make the most of yours. ## Role Details **Role Location:** Friars Bridge Court, 41-43 Blackfriars Road, London SE1 8NZ **Hours of Work:** Monday – Friday, 08:00–16:00, full time ## Role Responsibilities - Assist in general porter duties within Synnovis Pathology Hub, including but not limited to: - Take delivery of Medical Gas cylinders, move to allocated usage area and connect to pipelines - Disconnect empty cylinders and move to designated locked storage for collection - Receive and acknowledge deliveries of pathology-related goods and distribute to relevant laboratories as required - Replenish stock in laboratory cold and ambient stores and working areas as necessary - Monitor stock levels of consumables and inform relevant managers if reordering is required - Escalate any issues to the Soft Service Supervisor without delay - Work with cleaning team to ensure dirty laboratory coats are prepared for collection at agreed intervals and stored correctly - Use the site CAFM system to raise, progress and complete work tasks - Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed, including manual handling, wearing the correct PPE, site-specific uniform, and suitable footwear - Complete statutory task and IT-related training - Report near misses and good catches in line with Integral good practice - Support the contract with a positive approach and contribute to team efforts - Complete any other associated tasks requested by management and participate in team meetings and activities ## Essential Experience - Experience working in a similar role and environment - Proactive and flexible - Physically fit and active; role involves lifting and moving heavy items (Manual Handling) ## Desirable Experience - Time served - Health and Safety experience ## Personal Qualities - Smart appearance and presentable - Excellent interpersonal skills - Good standard of written and verbal communication - Comfortable working in a team environment; actively contribute to team goals - Ability to work unsupervised - Self-motivated - Punctual - Customer experience focused ## Location On-site – London, GBR If this job description resonates with you, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all of the requirements.
