IAG1 is Launch Bonus Eligible. The bonus is $10,000 pre-tax.

Eligibility & Bonus Details

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be located at a site outside of 50 miles from the launch site. This is determined by the distance from the candidate’s home site to the launch site.
  • Has not received another launch bonus within the current calendar year.
  • Hired within 30 days of first receipt (FR).

Collection of Funds: When a candidate accepts an offer with a bonus, it will be automatically paid out 3 weeks prior to their start date.

There are certain situations in which the employee would need to pay back the launch bonus. In all cases the bonus will be prorated based on the time in service at the new launch site. These scenarios include:

  • If the candidate leaves Amazon voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the launch bonus.
  • If the candidate is demoted from the role voluntarily or involuntarily within 12 months of receiving the bonus.
  • If the candidate fails to start at the new site.
  • If the candidate chooses to laterally transfer to another site within 6 months of the launch.

Role Summary

The Amazon operations team is looking for PIT Trainers with a strong record of achieving results to join the expanding team supporting operations leaders and associates in delivering strong operations results within our fulfillment centers. PIT Trainer roles may include production duties as needed: pick/pack orders, receive/stow product, ensure inventory accuracy, and unload/load trucks. PIT Trainers will also be responsible for communicating instructions to other associates, motivating them, and keeping their work areas safe.

Role Requirements

For this role, you will need to be:

  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Able to work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.
  • Able to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.

Current certification on PIT equipment is preferred, but not required.

The starting pay for this position is listed below, including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a consistent, best-in-class new hire experience in a rapid and complex, changing work environment.
  • Engage and excite newly hired employees in a welcoming and supportive environment using a hands-on approach.
  • Drive operational mechanisms to ensure an exceptional, reliable onboarding experience.
  • Facilitate a smooth transition from onboarding to in-path training, remaining engaged and acting as a resource for new hires.
  • Analyze and interpret metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • React quickly to serve as a resource for specific barriers and determine the correct steps to resolve.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across disparate groups with competing priorities.
  • Support a 24/7 environment with multiple shifts and seasonal staffing ramps to meet customer demand. Full shift flexibility including holidays, nights, and weekends is needed for this role.

Basic Qualifications

  • 1+ year of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
  • Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
