## Overview

You have strong product knowledge on a range of Structured Products under various asset classes (Equity Derivatives, FX, and Commodities) with excellent attention to detail. This is the team for you.

As a **Trade Support Associate I** within the Trading Services team at JPMorgan Chase, you will gain invaluable insights into Investment Bank Middle Office operations and related systems across a wide range of asset classes, with exposure to Front, Middle and Back Office teams, internal stakeholders (Treasury, Legal, Compliance & Technology), and external agents. It presents an excellent platform for leveraging knowledge gained through related roles such as marketing support, trader assistant, trade support, or projects.

## Responsibilities

  
- Support the Equity Derivative Structured Products Desks in North America, covering both sales and trading for the exotic business lines. Facilitate trade bookings, address queries on various structured trades, validate the economic integrity of trades, ensure settlement and client setup is complete, manage secondary buyback formalities, and facilitate pricing (Bloomberg, etc.).
  
- Work with Sales to provide pre-trade approvals on new structured products, ensuring clients are onboarded correctly and all pre-trade formalities are completed prior to issue date.
  
- Prepare various calculations on structured trades (cross-asset class) for expiries, coupons, physical pay-offs, and drafting fixing notices for custodians. Calculations are based on term sheets, confirmations, and models built in Excel pulling data from Bloomberg and other data sources.
  
- Place trade captures of Structured Products into various front office systems.
  
- Participate in projects to reduce manual labor, increase controls, and mitigate risk of input errors.
  
- Identify, implement, and support efforts to drive down manual work per trade, collaborating with other JPMorgan Chase teams to reduce costs within the middle office by leveraging low-cost centers.
  
- Drive the future state of the Structured Products business by improving daily processes to reduce manual tasks, cut risk, increase controls, and assist in new business activities.

## Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Trade Support (Equity Derivatives, FX, Commodities, etc.).
  
- Strong product knowledge on a range of Structured Products under various asset classes (Equity Derivatives, FX, Commodities, etc.).
  
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics, open to other majors.
  
- Knowledge of financial markets and products, especially derivatives.
  
- Excellent attention to detail with a control mindset.
  
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and work under pressure in a dynamic environment without compromising quality.
  
- Team player capable of building effective business relationships across the organization and understanding how different teams within the bank operate to ensure the correct teams are engaged throughout the life of a trade.
  
- Proactive problem solving with root-cause analysis, solution identification, and ownership of resolution.
  
- Ability to start early and finish late when required.

## Preferred qualifications and skills

  
- Knowledge of data vendor platforms such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
  
- Knowledge of low-code platforms such as Alteryx and Tableau.
