## Role Overview

This role provides client service support to potentially multiple Financial Advisors (FAs). Key responsibilities include supporting enterprise strategic objectives, operational excellence goals, and client advocacy within the FA’s business, while customizing solutions based on their specific needs. The position serves as the primary point of contact at Merrill to address all service needs of clients.

This role provides operational support to the Private Capital & Venture Solutions Group (PCVSG). Founded more than three decades ago, the team offers a comprehensive suite of tailored solutions designed to address the brokerage and operational needs of the private capital community. Our high-touch services include managing stock distributions, restricted stock sales and settlement, drafting and implementing 10b5-1 plans, and a range of alternative monetization strategies. The 50+ person team operates in a fast-paced environment across six offices nationwide. We are seeking a Client Associate with an interest in financial services, a positive attitude, high energy, and the ability to work effectively as part of a thriving team.

## Responsibilities

  
- Provide excellent client service to the bank's clients by educating them on all banking services and offerings
  
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and completeness in client materials; follow up on all client and FA requests
  
- Help ensure practices align with the bank’s policies and procedures to support operational excellence, protect clients, and manage risk
  
- Identify, deepen, and maintain client relationships by promoting the bank’s offerings and integrating banking into day-to-day activities, while communicating outputs to the FA
  
- Support day-to-day team activities and needs, including covering roles during absences or seasonal needs, while maintaining a client-first mindset

## Required Qualifications

## Desired Qualifications

  
- Currently holds or is pursuing FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and/or Series 66 (63 and 65 accepted in lieu of 66)
  
- Industry knowledge and understanding of investment products
  
- Experience working with clients, quickly fulfilling their needs, delivering complex solutions, and providing an excellent client experience
  
- Comfort operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities

## Education

Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent

**Pay Transparency details**

Location: US - NY - New York - ONE BRYANT PARK - BANK OF AMERICA TOWER (NY1100)

**Pay range:** $25.00 - $44.00 hourly; offers to be determined based on experience, education, and skill set.

**Discretionary incentive eligible:** This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary plan. Employees may receive an annual discretionary award based on individual performance, contributions of their line of business or group, and overall company performance.
