Summer interns work on real-world projects and initiatives with their teams. **This posting focuses on the following area:** ### Financial Markets ING’s Financial Markets division offers hedging, investment products, and securities financing solutions to clients of ING’s Wholesale Banking division in global markets. The Financial Markets team includes Global Securities Finance, Financial Engineering, Corporate Sales, Institutional Sales, and Trading. Financial Markets products include: - Interest Rates - Foreign Exchange - Commodities - Equity Total Return Swaps - Equity Lending & Repo - Fixed Income Repo ### Responsibilities #### Financial Markets Interns are expected to be exposed to multiple sales and trading desks. - Support client solutions with trading and sales of financial markets products in global markets. - Assist senior traders and salespeople with administrative tasks related to deals and transactions. - Conduct research and provide project assistance to Financial Markets professionals. - Prepare credit analysis and written reports for transactions. - Perform due diligence and prepare and revise presentation materials. ### Profile (What We’re Looking For) Undergraduate college students graduating in 2028, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, engineering, or related field. Graduate students may also be considered for certain roles. Liberal arts majors interested in careers in finance and banking are welcome to apply. ### Experience / Knowledge - Prior internship and/or relevant financial experience preferred. - Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and especially Excel). ### Additional Skills - Financial modelling and credit writing exposure is helpful. - VBA and/or programming skills are a plus. ### Competencies - You are an upbeat and highly focused individual. - High level of performance motivation and eagerness to learn. - Strong multi-tasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. - Flexibility and stress resilience, with the ability to work under deadlines. - Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas in a persuasive, organized, and articulate manner. **Hourly Rate:** $45/hour **Status:** Full-time; Paid (Seasonal) **Start Date:** June 2027 (10 Week Summer Internship) _ING is a committed equal opportunity employer.
