The intern will work with engineering teams to analyze manufacturing data, identify improvement opportunities, and develop scalable solutions that enhance production efficiency, product quality, and yield. ## Objective of the Project To design and implement data-driven control and automation solutions that improve manufacturing performance through enhanced process stability, optimization, and analytics. ## Project Scope - Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, variations, and improvement opportunities - Develop process control and automation solutions to enhance manufacturing efficiency and consistency - Apply statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to derive insights from large datasets - Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to implement and improve control strategies - Support the standardisation and continuous improvement of process control applications across global teams - Contribute to the development of knowledge-sharing materials and documentation ## Learning Opportunities - Exposure to advanced process control concepts in semiconductor manufacturing - Hands-on experience in data analytics, automation, and machine learning applications - Understanding of smart manufacturing systems and digital transformation initiatives - Experience working with global engineering teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment ## Deliverables - Developed and validated process control or automation solution - Documented analysis, methodology, and outcomes of the assigned project - Presentation of project findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders ## Impact of Project - Improved manufacturing efficiency through automation and control enhancements - Enhanced process stability leading to better product quality and yield - Contribution to scalable and standardized engineering solutions across the organization ## Skillsets Required - Programming knowledge in Python or R - Strong analytical and data interpretation skills - Understanding of statistical analysis concepts - Good communication and collaboration skills ## Course of Interests The ideal candidate should be currently pursuing a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. ## Duration Period Will be able to commit to a full-time internship of at least 3 months. ## About Micron Technology, Inc.
