## Job Title

Pearson VUE is seeking a temporary part-time Test Administrator to join our team in New York, NY (255 Greenwich St, Suite 500).

This is a temporary position that will run through the end of November 2026. Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, plus eligibility for accrued paid sick time.

## Responsibilities

The Test Administrator position is responsible for providing secure exam delivery and superior customer service in a comfortable, friendly environment. Primary duties include:

  
- Comply with all testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies, using careful judgment.
  
- Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
  
- Proctor / invigilate candidates while testing.
  
- Troubleshoot with internal departments to resolve technical issues.
  
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each examination.
  
- Other duties as assigned.

## Schedule Requirements

Ideal candidates demonstrate teamwork and have the availability to work a variety of shifts any day Monday through Saturday, between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, with about 1–3 Saturdays per month. Sunday shifts are extremely infrequent but possible if needed. Candidates must be open to flexible scheduling.

This is a part-time position (12–18 hours per week) with the expectation to work more hours if needed. Schedules are posted at least 2 weeks in advance.

## Qualifications

  
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
  
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
  
- Experience proctoring or invigilating exams highly preferred.
  
- Flexible with respect to work hours and days.
  
- Beginner to intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  
- Ability to sit for long periods and escort candidates to and from the testing room.
  
- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
  
- Comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices and see details from a distance.
