## Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer to support the development and maintenance of enterprise-level Java applications. This role involves working closely with team members to design, build, enhance, and support software solutions.

The ideal candidate has a strong interest in Java technologies, is willing to learn industry best practices, and is keen to build a career in enterprise application development.

## Roles and Responsibilities

  
- Support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise Java applications across the SDLC
  
- Assist in enhancing existing applications to improve performance and stability
  
- Participate in system integration testing and help troubleshoot application issues
  
- Perform unit testing using standard testing frameworks
  
- Work with team members to deliver solutions aligned with business requirements
  
- Create and maintain technical documentation
  
- Follow development standards and best practices

## Requirements

  
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computing, IT, or a related field
  
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in Java programming
  
- Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
  
- Knowledge and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL)
  
- Familiarity with REST APIs or web services is an advantage
  
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  
- Understanding and exposure to the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  
- Able to work both independently and in a team
  
- Good communication skills
  
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

## Good to Have

  
- Exposure to Spring / Spring Boot
  
- Basic knowledge of unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)
  
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
  
- Internship or academic project experience in Java development
