Then read on. ## Responsibilities - Maintain and follow strict confidentiality as customer privacy is our biggest tenet. - Work with a range of data types, including text, speech, image, and video. - Deliver high-quality labeled data using provided guidelines to meet KPIs and using in-house tools and software. - Act as a subject matter expert for ML data workflows and demonstrate proficiency in researching, creating factually and grammatically correct responses, ranking responses, and annotating text, speech, image, and video. - Make logical decisions while performing tasks even when information is ambiguous. - Maintain an eye for detail and the ability to pivot between different requirement categories quickly. - Support daily operational deliverables such as AHT, quality, and TAT for multiple task types assigned to you and the team. - Demonstrate end-to-end data execution proficiency related to labeling tasks and be less dependent on detailed work instructions. - Contribute to root cause analysis, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to improve labeling quality. - Identify day-to-day process and operational issues in SOPs and tools, and suggest changes to unblock operations. - Provide floor support to clarify internal queries during execution as needed. ## A day in the life We are seeking an ML Data Associate (MLDA) to undertake foundational labeling functions, such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio, and video data, to assess and improve Alexa’s performance in everyday situations. Your ability to concentrate, multi-task, and maintain high attention to detail helps you deliver high-quality work while upholding strict confidentiality and adhering to all applicable Amazon policies for securing confidential information. You will be part of a diverse team with a shared vision to advance technology and how we use Artificial Intelligence. An inner drive, individuality, and a creative mind are highly beneficial. ## The Team The team works strictly in the office Monday through Friday with an eight-hour shift. We continually seek ways to improve capabilities and deliver the best product possible. The team is diverse, with regular meetings, trainings, and Amazon events throughout the year. ## Basic Qualifications - An Associate’s Degree or related work experience. - CEFR C1+ or equivalent fluency in Dutch. - Written and spoken knowledge of English is essential (CEFR C1+). - Strong business writing skills with the ability to create reports, proposals, and professional correspondence. - Advanced reading comprehension with the ability to analyze complex business documents. - Developed analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities. - Ability to interpret and implement detailed instructions across various projects. - Proficient research skills with experience gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources. - Proven attention to detail in managing complex tasks and documents. ## Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. - Proven experience with demonstrated task execution ability. - Proven capacity to leverage open-source resources effectively for comprehensive research purposes. - Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy. - Proven project coordination or management experience (for support functions teams). - Experience managing stakeholder relationships across departments. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications. ## Equal Opportunity & Privacy Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
