## About Us

DV Group of financial services firms, founded 20 years ago and headquartered in Chicago, operates with more than 600 people across North America, Europe, and Asia. Since spinning out of a large brokerage firm in 2016, DV Trading has grown as an independent proprietary trading firm using its own capital, trading strategies, and risk management methodologies to provide liquidity to worldwide financial markets and hedging opportunities to commodity producers and users. DV group affiliates include two broker-dealers, a cryptocurrency market‑making firm, and an investment adviser.

## Job Responsibilities

  
- Build and improve a variety of proprietary trading tools to support trading desks across the business
  
- Collaborate with other developers, tech leaders, traders, and researchers to outline the technical needs for each trading application
  
- Work with technology and business stakeholders in an iterative fashion to deliver platform functionality
  
- Develop greenfield innovative solutions to address business needs

## Requirements

  
- Expected to graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field by Summer 2026
  
- Experience programming in both Python and C++ in Linux environments
  
- Excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  
- Ability to work onsite at our New York office five days per week
  
- Coursework in statistics or mathematics is preferred

_Annual compensation range $100k - $150k + discretionary bonus eligibility._
