**Job Title:** Maintenance Mechanic

**Facility:** Facilities Services-O2

## Responsibilities

### Maintenance

  
- Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
  
- Conduct assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
  
- Perform general interior maintenance such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, repairing office furniture systems, and repairing doors.
  
- Assist the operations team in the maintenance and repair of building and equipment as directed.
  
- Move office furniture, machinery, equipment and other materials as requested.
  
- Replace lighting and ballasts.
  
- Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts.
  
- Complete other tasks as assigned.

### Safety

  
- Complete hazard assessments as necessary.
  
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping and safety of work areas; recognize hazards and propose elimination methods.
  
- Maintain compliance with state, county, or city ordinances, codes, or laws.
  
- Complete all required safety trainings as scheduled.
  
- Comply with policies for safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.

### Administrative

  
- Update work order status in real time.
  
- Utilize ticket systems.
  
- Escalate problems or issues to the Customer and Manager in a timely manner.
  
- Attend work and safety meetings as required.
  
- Perform any other duties and tasks as assigned.

## Requirements

**Sound like you? To apply you need:**

  
- High school diploma or equivalent.
  
- Minimum of 1–3 years of applicable experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and basic electrical.
  
- Be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
  
- Be able to work from heights.
  
- Frequently climb, bend, lift, kneel, stoop, and work overhead.
  
- Work in adverse conditions (extreme cold or extreme heat).
  
- Climb a ladder with a 300 lb weight limit while carrying a tool bag (~20 lbs).
  
- Climb ladders up to 30 feet.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

## Compensation

**Estimated compensation for this position:**

$50,000.00 – $50,000.00 USD per year

_This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations, including candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations._
