What a College Intern – Data Analytics and Procurement does at HP:

• Work with an enterprising team of data scientists and build solutions to track, analyze, and visualize the manufacturing and outbound quality of our supplies.
• Generate deep insights through the analysis of data and understanding of operational processes, and turn them into actionable recommendations.
• Develop methodologies for optimizing business processes through data visualization, real-time monitoring, and predictive analytics.
• Prerequisite knowledge or experience in SQL, Microsoft Office, VBA, Power BI, TensorFlow, and UI Path is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with data science teammates to design and implement analytics solutions that monitor quality metrics in manufacturing and outbound processes.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into clear recommendations.
• Develop and refine visualization dashboards and reports to support real-time monitoring and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or Statistics, with strong programming experience.
• Familiarity with supply chain concepts and systems.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and programming ability (R/Python is desirable).
• Knowledge of data analytics, data warehousing, database management (preferably SQL), and data visualization (RShiny/Plotly).
• Fundamental knowledge of statistics and probability.
• Good visualization skills to create real-time dashboards and/or reports that inform trends and insights.
• Eligible to commit to a 5–6 month full-time internship starting around May 2026.

Location: Singapore. This is a full-time internship with no shift premium. Travel and relocation details are not specified.
