The Amazon Corporate Military Program (ACMP) offers that opportunity. ## About the Amazon Corporate Military Program (ACMP) ACMP is a pathway for service leavers to begin a commercial career in eCommerce after leaving the Armed Forces. We seek high‑performing, customer‑obsessed individuals to help solve real business problems within our Consumer (Corporate) Business. ## Program Structure Upon joining, you will complete a short training period with your ACMP cohort to familiarize yourself with Amazon’s approaches and to learn analytical techniques and tools. You will then join a team and be presented with a specific problem or opportunity to solve. You will be expected to dive deep into the issue, think big to develop a solution, secure buy-in from senior stakeholders, and execute your plan to deliver results that delight customers. You will be supported by fellow veterans within Amazon Consumer and the Warriors@Amazon affinity group and will have opportunities to network to find permanent roles within the business. ## What is Amazon Consumer? Amazon Consumer is the team behind Amazon’s eCommerce business. We manage selling partner and customer experience for Amazon.co.uk (http://amazon.co.uk/). Customers interact with our work when they find what they are looking for at a great price on Amazon.co.uk. We aim to push the eCommerce industry forward by delivering innovation in mobile, social, and community shopping. ## Internship Projects Projects will align with our core Corporate roles, including but not limited to: Vendor Manager, Instock Manager, Product Manager, Program Manager, and Account Manager. Successful candidates will be matched to specific projects across the Consumer business based on a combination of career interests, military work experience, education, and applicable industry experience. ## Role on Joining All interns will join Amazon as individual contributors (IC) as part of an ACMP cohort. ICs own and drive the growth of their business, accounts, categories, programs, and/or technical products. Entering Amazon as an IC is standard, even for candidates with people management and 10+ years of direct industry experience. **Please note:** This is a 9‑month paid placement on a fixed‑term contract basis. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for any available permanent roles during the contract, but Amazon cannot guarantee the availability of any permanent roles or that candidates will be offered permanent roles. ## Basic Qualifications - Experience owning or driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end‑to‑end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience as a product manager or product owner - Experience owning technology products - Experience with product cycles of 6+ months - Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development, or technology ## Preferred Qualifications - Experience influencing senior leadership through data‑driven insights - Experience working across functional teams and with senior stakeholders ## Equal Opportunity Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
