## Job Title

Analyst, Institutional Equity Sales

As an Analyst in Institutional Equity Sales, you will partner with a team of senior equity salespeople to maintain and develop key investor client relationships. We are seeking a candidate with strong intellectual curiosity, a passion for equity markets, a high degree of organization and attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under high pressure with appropriate urgency.

## Job Responsibilities

  
- Support senior equity salespeople, attend corporate management IPO and follow-on presentations, and provide backup coverage of existing equity relationships.
  
- Navigate products effectively across a broad range of clients (asset managers, insurance accounts, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, hedge funds, etc.) along with idea generation and market insight.
  
- Collaborate with trading, research, banking, and syndicate teams to provide comprehensive client coverage across the platform.

## Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  
- Experience in sales
  
- Hard-working and self-motivated team player; works well in small groups; collaborates effectively with partners in Research, Trading, and Capital Markets
  
- Critical thinker with the goal of motivating stock idea generation and themes for clients
  
- Understanding of fundamental product knowledge and market structure
  
- Clear, logical thinker with strong qualitative skills, including effective communication and presentation
  
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

## Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  
- Series 7 and 63 license preferred but not required initially; candidate is expected to complete these licenses if not already held
