Be part of a region- and sector-focused team supporting Corporate Banking clients connected to Greater China and the Global Metals & Mining landscape. As an intern within the **China Business Office**, you’ll gain exposure to industry research, market intelligence, and financial analysis that support large corporate clients. This role offers a valuable opportunity to understand how global trends, economic indicators, and emerging areas such as digital assets influence corporate banking strategies.

## Your Responsibilities

  
- **Industry & Market Research:** conduct structured research on selected industries and client segments, analysing industry trends, regulatory developments, and macroeconomic drivers
  
- **Financial Analysis:** analyse and interpret historical financial data of large corporate clients to identify performance trends, risks, and opportunities
  
- **Market Intelligence & Data Analytics:** support the use of data analytics to gather and evaluate market intelligence and economic indicators relevant to Corporate Banking
  
- **Digital Assets Research:** conduct research on digital asset use cases relevant to corporate clients, including applications within trade finance
  
- **Coverage Team Support:** provide research and analytical support to Corporate Banking coverage teams to inform client discussions and business decisions

## Who You Are

  
- An **Undergraduate student** with an interest in corporate banking, economics, finance, or industry research
  
- Analytical and comfortable working with data, research materials, and financial information
  
- Curious about global markets, industry trends, and emerging topics such as digital assets
  
- Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn

## Learning Objectives

This internship will provide you with:

  
- Hands-on experience in **industry research and market analysis** relevant to Corporate Banking
  
- Exposure to **data analytics and economic indicators** used in evaluating market intelligence
  
- Practical skills in analysing **historical financial data of large corporates**
  
- Understanding of how **digital assets** may be applied within Corporate Banking and trade finance
  
- Insight into how regional and sector teams support clients within Global Corporate Banking
