Overview
Amazon's EU Pricing team is looking for a sharp, analytically driven Associate Product Manager to support the definition and execution of our pricing roadmap, ensuring Amazon's customers get a great price on each and every product they find on our website. This role thrives in the details, driving analysis through SQL queries and Python scripts, and leveraging AI/ML tools to turn data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, execution-oriented, with strong written and verbal communication skills; customer-obsessed and comfortable working hands-on with large datasets; highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to deliver results on multiple workstreams simultaneously. The right person is eager to learn, takes ownership of deliverables, and collaborates effectively across teams. This role can be based in London, Luxembourg, Paris, Milan or Munich.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the scoping, scheduling, testing and deployment of pricing initiatives by partnering with business, product and engineering teams across EU and WW.
- Write and maintain SQL queries and Python scripts to extract, analyze and monitor pricing data at scale, identifying trends, anomalies and opportunities.
- Leverage AI/ML tools and automation (e.g., LLMs, scripting assistants, internal AI platforms) to accelerate analysis, reporting and operational workflows.
- Manage day-to-day execution of multiple concurrent projects with strong organization, time management and follow-through.
- Translate business requirements into clear, well-documented specs for technical and non-technical partners.
- Measure the impact of pricing actions through rigorous data analysis, surface findings and recommend refinements to strategy or algorithm logic.
- Prepare materials for executive reviews, support escalation responses, and ensure follow-through on action items with high accuracy.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders, with strong attention to detail in every deliverable.
A Day in the Life
You will lead a workstream end-to-end with increasing complexity and impact. You will support senior PMs in shaping strategic direction by providing the analytical backbone behind key decisions. You will partner with cross-functional teams (product and program management, business intelligence, software engineers, and international partners) to execute, monitor and improve pricing programs. You will regularly contribute to program updates and present data-driven insights to leadership.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business economics, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, information technology or equivalent
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis, or a quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey information to technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
- Experience working with large, complex data sets
- Experience driving collaborative projects from conception to delivery
- Experience coordinating cross-functional inputs, meeting deadlines, and effectively managing competing priorities
- Strong project management skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and critical path management
- Experience analyzing data and creating reports for leadership
- Ownership of projects and the ability to communicate timelines and execute independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in deal management and pricing strategy, or financial consulting
- Master's degree or above in management, business administration, economics, engineering, or marketing
