The Commercial Banking group serves a broad client base with a wide range of products and services, including financing, capital markets, and structured products, among others. The Structured Products Group structures, arranges, and distributes ABS and CLO transactions to institutional investors, working with clients across the bank, primarily the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). This role reports to the Head of Structured Products within Capital One’s Capital Markets Financing Group (CM) and is a member of the Structured Products team driving new business opportunities. The group collaborates with FIG across asset classes in consumer and commercial sectors, including ABS, MM CLOs, and CRE CLOs. ### Responsibilities - Provide support to capital markets bankers to help the team win lead and co-manager ABS and CLO mandates - Support the execution and closing of ABS and/or CLO transactions - Manage deal processes and coordinate discussions with Rating Agencies, Accounting Firms, and Legal Counsel - Negotiate key deal terms and run investor calls and meetings - Assist deal sponsorship internally and prepare key transaction materials - Assist in the preparation of pitchbooks or pitch materials for client discussions - Provide R&D efforts as the group expands into new products and asset classes within structured products - Coordinate ABS and CLO activities with internal sales teams to ensure proper investor messaging - Assist with due diligence sessions for ABS and CLO issuers - Engage in special projects to support new business generation - Maintain successful relationships and interactions with partner groups such as Operations, Credit, Counterparty, Market Risk, Technology, Compliance, Internal Audit & Legal ### Qualifications #### Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s Degree or military experience #### Preferred Qualifications - At least 1 year of structured product or banking experience **Note:** At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization for this position. ### Compensation & Benefits The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on hours worked. For New York, NY, the Analyst, Structured Products salary range is $110,000 – $130,000. Candidates hired in other locations will be subject to the pay range for that location, and the actual offer will be stated in the offer letter. This role is eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
