Interested in working on an innovative and high-impact business that is changing the way customers think about grocery? Amazon is looking for a talented Vendor Manager (VM) responsible for managing vendor relationships and setting the strategic direction for their business. The ideal candidate possesses experience in buying, marketing, and/or finance, with a track record of successful relationship management, strong analytical acumen, and experience generating and managing reporting and analysis. Great communication skills and understanding of Excel will be essential to your success. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will take ownership of projects and business problems to a successful result.
Responsibilities
- Drive strategic negotiations with large vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with senior leaders
- Develop long-term strategies and significantly influence cross-category plans
- Work cross-functionally, both within Amazon and with the strategic vendor, and implement scalable, simple, and automated solutions to address customer pain points
- Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand-building for multiple sub-categories
- Audit metrics regularly, determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks, and make recommendations to pursue
- Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in process improvement
- Experience managing large amounts of data

Benefits & Compensation
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
