## Role

We are seeking a future team member for the role of Associate, Operations Client Service to join our Custody Client Operations team. This role is based in Hong Kong.

## Key Responsibilities

  
- Supports multiple, complex client accounts and serves as the primary point of contact on day-to-day settlements and cash-related issues with clients.
  
- Apply advanced problem-solving skills, judgment, and experience to analyze information, understand client needs, and support clients in addressing and resolving complex operational and technical issues, ensuring requests are met without undue risk to the bank.
  
- Use developed communication skills to deliver high-quality service to a specialized client base.
  
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of client issues to contribute to business development efforts and coordinate with appropriate resources at BNY Mellon to address client needs.
  
- Participate in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve client experience.
  
- Participate in client service reviews.
  
- Participate in internal projects or process improvements as required.
  
- Foster deep partnerships with operational teams through regular engagement and proactively raise clients’ concerns or gaps with internal stakeholders and the management team.
  
- Maintain familiarity with industry best practices and stay informed about market changes and product development.
  
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members.

## Qualifications & Requirements

  
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  
- 1–3 years of total work experience preferred.
  
- Experience in custody operations and/or client services preferred.
  
- Ability to converse in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients in the greater China region; experience in international markets is a plus.
