## Your Role

  
- Understand the performance and characteristics of various epitaxy equipment during PM & CM cycles.
  
- Learn how to analyze the Maestria and Estar systems.
  
- Characterize and optimize key performance behaviors of equipment using analysis tools.
  
- Learn to troubleshoot the tool mechanically and perform basic electronics troubleshooting.
  
- Learn to read electrical and electronics schematics.
  
- Study and learn all toxic gas types used for epitaxial processes (MSDS).
  
- Participate in key projects, SMED or A3 workshops.
  
- Assist in tool conversions from 6 to 8-inch wafer size.
  
- Contribute to tool upgrades.
  
- Learn to install and reload equipment software.
  
- Utilize analytical tools such as SMED and A3 methodologies.
  
- Complete generic Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) training.

## Technical Skills & Competencies

  
- Interpret schematic diagrams.
  
- Knowledge of epitaxy equipment.
  
- Proficiency with Maestria analytical methodology tools for troubleshooting.
  
- Understanding of MSDS for gases used in epitaxy.
  
- Experience with SMED and A3 workshops.

## Your Skills & Experiences

  
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical design, electrical and/or electronics engineering, or mechatronics (any of these three).
  
- Good comportment with ST HR policies and regulations.
  
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with diverse groups.
  
- Proactive participation and collaboration.
