This one-day programme offers a flavour of what it’s like to work here, with opportunities to learn about Finance, develop your network, and identify your strengths. The event runs on 24 August 2026 and is open for applications to spark your imagination and start your future career.

## Finance

In Finance, we bring together all financial activity across the bank through analysis, insight, and reporting. We manage the bank’s balance sheet, report on financial performance, and help ensure we make the right decisions for our customers.

Our customers expect their money to be well managed. We help colleagues make clear decisions while developing the right long-term financial strategy.

## What you’ll do

Join us for a one-day experience in London designed to provide a deep dive into our internship programme. The day is split into two sessions: a morning conference and an afternoon on-the-job insight.

In the morning, you’ll join NatWest colleagues for an introduction to the business, our culture, and the future-ready skills you’ll develop on an internship.

The afternoon offers a hands-on opportunity to experience what it’s like to be part of our programme, focusing on the real-life applications of learned skills.

The programme prioritises the student experience, personal development, and practical exposure. Don’t miss this chance to explore your future career path!

## Entry requirements

To apply, you’ll need:

  
- To be in the UK and from a Black heritage background, including individuals who identify as Black, African, Caribbean, Black British, or mixed/multiple ethnic groups (e.g., White and Black Caribbean, White and Black African)
  
- To be graduating in 2028; no specific UCAS points or particular subject is required
  
- The Finance graduate pathway does not meet the government criteria for skilled worker visa sponsorship; candidates must have a sustainable right to work in the UK

## What else you need to know

On the day, you must be able to attend in person at our London office.

We’ll support your travel expenses for the in-person event by reimbursing up to £100.

After completing the Insight Experience, you’ll be invited to continue your application journey for our 2027 Internship programmes. The next stage will be an assessment centre.
