An Assessed Internship is an excellent way to get to know Shell from the inside and immerse yourself in the energy industry. You’ll have day-to-day involvement in actual projects selected to match your interests and abilities. You’ll join a project team and work alongside Shell professionals, gaining insights into our business, its demands and rewards. ## Position - **IDT Intern** (Mathematics/Statistics or Physics background preferred) ## Location London, UK (United Kingdom) ## Programme Duration 15 June 2026 – 4 Sept 2026 ## Application Deadline The deadline for application is 26 April 2026. ## What to Expect An Assessed Internship includes supervision and mentoring, with regular assessments to ensure you get the most from the experience. A formal mid-term review will be conducted with your supervisor and mentor. At the end of your internship, you will prepare a presentation about your project and discuss project delivery and performance with your supervisor and mentor. - Typically 10–12 weeks in your chosen business area. - A real project with a significant level of business impact. - Discover which skills you need to develop through constructive feedback. - Develop valuable networks and future career opportunities. ## What We Expect You should enjoy being challenged and be motivated to be innovative.
