You’ll be encouraged to identify and highlight opportunities to enhance our delivery and provide additional services to organisations we work with. ## Role Overview In this role you’ll be involved in a range of valuation and advisory engagements relating to financial products (derivatives and cash-based) across all asset classes, including both contentious and non-contentious matters. Engagements will also include risk-related work such as modelling default risk, alongside other quantitative/statistical advisory projects. You’ll be someone with: ### Qualifications - Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering or Computer Science with an interest in finance and financial instrument valuation, hedging and structuring. - Familiarity with programming in a high-level language (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB, Excel VBA) and/or experience with econometric software (e.g., STATA, SAS). - An effective communicator with intellectual curiosity and an analytical mindset. - Strong business writing, analytical and modelling skills. - Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to articulate ideas in both technical and non-technical terms. - Interest in applying tools from finance, mathematics and data science to provide pragmatic and robust solutions. ## Career Development At BDO, we’ll help you achieve your personal goals and career ambitions.
