## ING in Asia Pacific

In Asia Pacific, ING offers wholesale banking across 11 markets: Australia, China, Hong Kong SAR, India, Indonesia, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan and Vietnam. Singapore is the regional headquarters for ING's Wholesale Banking (WB) business in Asia, which includes Financial Markets, Strategic Products, Sectors, Lending and Transaction Services, and other support functions.

## Fund Finance Team

ING’s Financial Institutions (FI) sector combines relationship management, multi-product sales, and structured lending for banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFI). NBFI clients include sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, pension funds, securities companies, and asset managers. Fund Finance is a strategic product providing financing solutions to alternative and traditional asset managers and financial sponsors, and is a key growth area within the FI sector as part of a regional push to onboard new clients and roll out new products. Fund Finance APAC works in sync with a broader team in London, Luxembourg, and New York that focuses on financing solutions for similar private capital vehicles.

## What would you be doing?

  
- Work closely with the Fund Finance APAC team in the origination and execution of capital call facilities to private equity, private debt, real estate, and infrastructure funds.
  
- Assist with client and transaction management, including customer due diligence, deal support, and client monitoring.
  
- Prepare communications for internal stakeholders, including pipeline, transaction status, and portfolio updates.
  
- Cooperate with other ING teams and assist on ad hoc projects as required.

## What qualities, skills and other criteria are we looking for?

We are looking for a passionate individual who meets the following criteria:

### Qualification

  
- 2nd to final year undergraduate with a demonstrated interest in banking and finance.

### Skills & Competencies

  
- Basic understanding of how a wholesale bank operates and its business model.
  
- Ability to work within deadlines with limited supervision and a high level of initiative.
  
- Willingness to learn and contribute meaningfully to the team and the bank as a whole.
  
- Prior exposure to structured lending or fund finance concepts would be advantageous.
  
- Ability to communicate clearly with fluent spoken and written English.
  
- Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
